High quality groceries (especially produce). The prices are very reasonable for what feels like a very premium store. Staff is always very friendly and efficient. Checkouts are well staffed to speed your way out.

Best place in the Point Judith area for fresh made salads and sandwiches. The sun dried tomato tortellini salad was amazing. Lunch was delicious. Great bakery as well. So many fresh baked bread options.

This supermarket always makes grocery shopping easy and enjoyable. The layout is simple to follow, and the store is kept very clean. The staff are helpful and provide great service whenever needed. I always find fresh products at good prices here.

We just ate the best mussels, prepared as moules vin blanc, which we bought fresh at the seafood counter this morning! 3 lb of mussels for $9.96. Nothing else has ever compared to moules vin blanc from Brussels, where it is the premier menu item. The Belmont mussels were stocky and rich, filling their shells as seldom seen here, every one a tasty bite. Thank you for stocking the best local seafood!

Staff are friendly and courteous. The cashiers are nice too. One girl (Paige) signed me up for a rewards program. She took the time and I never felt rushed. I also like the hometown feel of a small market. I enjoy supporting a small, local business.

I absolutely Love Belmont Market. They have the freshest local food in their market. They employ local disabled people to work at the market and the people that work there are friendly and very helpful. The best Market in South county RI

Family owned market. This is the best (and ONLY) place I shop (local) for groceries. During the busy season, it’s not uncommon for the owners’ to be working the registers and bagging groceries. this is true leadership - “lead by example.” It’s not just because of the attention to detail and being on a first name basis with most if not all of the long-time staff: I am a history professor and Retired Army journalist. I react and judge businesses HARSHLY when I encounter low morale or lack of initiative in the front-line workers. When I do, I say something, as it is usually a symptom of a failure of leadership. It is not the case here, when the owner is personally reviewing the details of my catering order while training a cashier simultaneously. Belmont employs many senior and disabled people from the community. Additionally, these employees clearly take tremendous PRIDE in their job and serve as role models for the younger workers. As a wheelchair user this is something that I particularly appreciate: what’s more is that they clearly invest a great deal of time and energy to properly train and mentor their employees, which is why you get the level of professional service that you do, as opposed to their impersonal corporate competitors. I truly appreciate all of the staff at Belmont: their devotion to their trade; the attention to detail and the personalized touches are what holds this business on a completely higher threshold than their impersonal faceless foreign-owned greedy corporate competitors. Thank you for YOUR service to the community Belmont!!!

I just used the catering service at Belmont Market and they were excellent! Chef Brenton was very helpful, as I had a guest with dietary restrictions, he helped taylor the menu to meet my needs. The food was packed, labeled, they gave instructions on how to heat before serving, and they helped load it into my car. Everything was delicious and my guests loved it. I will absolutely use Belmont Catering again. Thank you to Chef Brenton and the staff at Belmont for your help in making my party a huge success!
